Local Women's Council of REALTORS® Formed

The Madison Metro Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) was formed in May, 2003 with 30 charter members. In its 65-year history, the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) has never been more important to the real estate industry than it is right now. The core of the organization is a strong grassroots base of 14,000 National members in more than 240 local chapters from 34 states. Chapters include men (8% of membership) and women who support the objectives of WCR and are interested in serving the industry, the community, and fellow REALTORS®. They are committed to the personal and professional success of their members. They provide programs to build relevant skills and strive to be standard bearers of professionalism and personal excellence. WCR ranks 17th of the 750 Women's Organizations in the United States.
2003-2004 Officers are:
President - Sara Anderson
President-elect- Carolyn Bryant
Vice President of Membership - Jennifer Utter
Secretary - Judi Kessler
Treasurer - Kellie McConley
Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Edgewater Hotel, with real estate related programs and opportunities to meet other real estate professionals.
The Madison Metro Chapter will help host the 2004 Business Women's Expo on February 10, 2004 at the Sheraton Inn.
