Suitcases for Kids
In 2006, RASCW joined the national service project designed to collect and distribute new and gently used suitcases, duffel bags and backpacks for foster children who are frequently forced to move from home to home. Thank you to all the Blitz attendees and Exhibitors who donated more than 300 suitcases, which meet the immediate needs of the agencies in Dane, Sauk and Columbia counties. This brings our total to date to more than 1000suitcases! Thank you to Two Men and a Truck for delivering the suitcases. And special thanks to Hiam Garner for his support of this project.
