2008 President - Paula SchmelzerAs I start writing this newsletter, the State Convention is only a few days away. I know that I am looking forward to seeing many colleagues this year in Wisconsin Dells. But most of all, I am excited and motivated to use the knowledge that I learn at the convention to springboard the last months of 2008 and into 2009. Are you ready? Are you motivated? I know it has been tough to stay on task and keep moving through a different market, but we all have the tools to be successful. We just need to decide to use them to our advantage.

In last month's newsletter, we talked about the REALTORS® Make a Difference Day that is set for September 23, 2008. This is a challenge to help our neighbors, friends, colleagues and clients that have been affected by the floods earlier this summer. The idea is to motivate our industry on one day and make a difference. I am excited to hear your stories of how each of you made a difference in our communities.

Don't forget to sign up for the Home Run and Irv Stein Memorial Walk on Saturday, October 18, 2008. I hope to see you there either walking or running for our RASCW Housing Foundation. If you can't do either or would prefer to volunteer, we can use your help at the event.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the Legends at Bergamont clubhouse for the RPAC Auction. We appreciate your support this year!

Have a fabulous month!

Sincerely,
Paula F. Schmelzer
