A big "Thank You" to all those that made the 2008 Habitat for Humanity Work Days a success. With the help of some business groups and many faithful workers, we helped build several homes for families through the program. Included in the workforce were: Joe Long, Brett Mazzara, Annessa MacTaggert, Mary Grunow, Susan Breitbach, Rachel Corey, Linda Beam, Pat "Pappy" Johnson, Margaret Landphier, Patty Gibson, Terrisa Mulder, Kathie Bahman, Ben Kuepers, Robyn Wolfram, Jennifer Zetzman, Steve Pipson, Kevin Campos, Dana Simons, Janine Glaeser, Ann Junkin, Lori Otgiesen, Laura Stanfield, Debbie Olson, Amy Roehl, and Chad Elert. Our apologies for anyone inadvertently omitted. In addition, special thanks go to Larry Gleasman who took pictures, and helped in many other ways; and Jim Zernicke, who was instrumental in managing the entire project.
Plan now on becoming involved in this year¹s effort. The tentative 2009 dates will be: May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9 and October 14. Locations may vary, but volunteer hours will be from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. All skill levels are encouraged to participate.
