Whether or not we like it, we are all becoming more aware of government in our lives. The Federal stimulus package, our state budget deficit, and local initiatives to promote commuter rail will all affect our lives. Everywhere we turn, there are important issues to either support or do battle with. On April 8th, we have a unique opportunity to address our concerns directly with our elected representatives in the State Capitol. REALTORS® from around the state will meet at 12:30 at Monona Terrace. After a briefing on several issues, we will walk to the State Capitol to meet with our elected officials, and share our concerns. Later, we will return to Monona Terrace to listen to Governor Doyle, and complete the day with a reception and social hour. We need a good turnout from our local Association, and look forward to your participation.
