Terry WatsonKEYNOTE SPEAKER, TERRY WATSON

Terry Watson is one of the most sought after speakers in North America. His infectious can-do attitude, his joyous sense of humor, and his uncanny ability to reach and involve all types of people make him and his seminar content memorable and useful. He is not only an educator, but he is also an experienced and highly motivated sales professional who really knows the business. He is a broker for his family's real estate firm, where he has hired, trained and supervised over 100 REALTOR® professionals.

The many returning learners who can't wait to hear more from Terry, plus the hundreds of first-time learners who've heard about him through the grapevine are proof that he is doing something amazing in each session.

Terry will be presenting two general sessions at Blitz 2006:

Think Globally, Sell Locally!
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Multinational real estate clients and prospects comprise too large of a market to be ignored. Become more informed about the customs, taboos, unique needs, and negotiation styles of diverse clients, and about the tools a real estate professional can use to successfully work with such clients. Discover how to avoid making fatal "multinational mistakes" that could drive clients away. It's time to go out and form international client relationships that could last a lifetime.

Avoiding Road Kill - The Ten Stupid Things Really Smart REALTORS® Do To Mess Up Their Lives!
3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Year after year agents with great expectations and promise enter real estate only to leave financially and mentally exhausted, burned out and bitter. Even top producers burn out prematurely or lose that raw passion for selling real estate. One of the fastest ways to change your life is to raise your standards in key areas. Terry will take a real-world look at the simple countermeasures to have an exceptional life and a legendary career. Success leaves clues but so does failure! Learn from the costly mistakes of hundreds of thousands of REALTORS® before you have to say, "I wish someone would have told me that."

The Association has joined the national service project designed to
collect and distribute new and gently used suitcases, duffel bags and backpacks for foster children who are frequently forced to move from home to home. This program will kick off at Blitz 2006. Please bring a suitcase to the Blitz for distribution to agencies within Dane, Sauk and Columbia Counties. We thank Two Men and a Truck who has graciously volunteered to deliver the items.

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Marv Roth
What's My Line: Negotiation and Scripting
Speaker: Marv Roth
Director of Education at Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in Appleton

What do I say when a seller says, "Another real estate agent will do it for less"; "I want to wait until after the holidays"; "Let's start a little higher, we can always come down"; "The price you came up with is less than what other agents are suggesting"; "I don't want the neighbors to know I'm selling"; etc.? It's not just what we say but, more importantly, how we say it. The presentation is always more powerful than the message. In this session we will also discuss creating simple brochures that will make our presentations truly dynamic.

Matt Anderson
1+1=5: Referral Based Business
Speaker: Matt Anderson

Dysfunctional math? You bet! Most REALTORS® get their referrals from the 20% of customers so happy that they send business without being asked. Isn't it time you made the decision to fulfill your true potential, get past whatever awkwardness you might have, and develop some reliable referral systems? This is it. This session will introduce two highly adaptable systems that will generate more business for you once applied consistently and address the mental game that has to be won. Only attend if you¹re committed to grow your referral business and are ready to walk your talk.

Dollars Today, Dollars Tomorrow:Accounting for Small Business
Speaker: Bob Roth

Every agent is running a small business, but are you taking advantage of available tax savings? Take charge of your business finances and learn about record keeping, tax deductions and S Corporations.
