What made you want to pursue real estate as a career?
The freedom, having my own clients, working with people and getting to know them, and the great potential for self-development and to have a great income.
What was one of your greatest challenges as a new agent?
Getting going. Doing the work and building a reputation.
What did receiving the RASCW Minority Scholarship mean to you?
A lot! I really appreciated being able to get it. It helped a lot.
What helped you the most as a new agent?
Remembering that I was a new agent and that it takes a little while to get started.
How has being a member of RASCW benefited you?
Having help at hand with questions when needed.
What has been most rewarding about being a REALTOR®?
I really do enjoy meeting and getting to know new people, and others I’ve worked with as well, especially the first-time home buyers. It’s great to be able to answer their questions and help them understand the process, which in turn helps me to understand it better, as we’re always learning. I do have to say that I absolutely love the agency that I’m with and all the help that I receive whenever I ask. They really are awesome people to work with!
