We are excited to announce our 2025 RASCW Architectural Design Competition. With project funding provided by AARP through the Community Challenge grant program, the competition focuses on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and is designed to help increase housing accessibility and bring greater awareness to how ADUs can benefit our community.
Design submissions open September 15th and close October 10th, with the six finalists announced on October 17th. Entries must follow city ordinances and include a floor plan, elevation, and 3D rendering. Apply Here!
The competition will be featured on October 23, 2025 during Madison’s Housing Week (October 19–25), with $4,500 awards for the top two professional designs, and $1,500 awards for the top two student designs. All finalists must showcase their design at the Open House on October 23rd, 5:00-7:00PM at StartingBlock, Madison (821 E Washington Ave., 2nd Floor).
