Our Purpose

The RASCW REALTOR® Relief Foundation is a charitable organization established to enhance the value of RASCW membership while continuing our commitment to strong, stable communities. The Foundation enhances the value of RASCW membership while advancing a broader commitment to community well-being and public understanding of housing. By supporting REALTORS®, partnering with community organizations, and expanding access to housing education, the Foundation helps ensure our profession remains a trusted, informed, and positive force across the region. Its work centers around three core pillars:

We support REALTORS® through member-focused assistance, scholarships, grants, and leadership development opportunities. The Foundation is designed to respond to member needs and strengthen professionalism across our industry.
By investing in education, growth, and recognition, we help REALTORS® build skills, expand their leadership capacity, and stay engaged in a constantly evolving profession. Whether supporting professional development, encouraging community involvement, or helping members navigate challenges, the Foundation exists to reinforce the value of membership and empower REALTORS® to succeed — in their careers and in the communities they serve.


RASCW remains deeply committed to supporting non profit organizations that strengthen housing stability and community well-being throughout our region. That commitment does not change.
RASCW has helped several impactful organization including but not limited to: One City Schools, OwnIT, Bayview Food Pantry, River Food Pantry, Little Free Library, Sauk County Food Pantry, Clean Lakes Alliance, Martin Luther King Coalition of Madison, Home Buyers Round Table, Movin’ Out, The Hope House, Friends of State Street, Madison Ronald McDonald House, Hope Heart, and Doorways, Iowa Country Food Pantry, and many more. Eligible nonprofits, including housing-focused organizations, may apply for support when their programs align with the Foundation’s charitable purpose.

We work to elevate public understanding of housing issues and the role of REALTORS® through housing literacy, consumer awareness, and fair housing education — helping individuals and families make more informed decisions about homeownership, renting, and navigating the real estate process.
By expanding access to clear, accurate information, we help people better understand their rights, responsibilities, and options in today’s housing market. Through education and community engagement, we support transparency, professionalism, and fairness in real estate — reinforcing the trusted role REALTORS® play in serving the public.

1. What is the RASCW REALTOR® Relief Foundation?
   It is a charitable organization created by RASCW to directly support members, strengthen community engagement, and expand public education.
2. Is this the same as the Housing Foundation?
   No. The Housing Foundation operates independently under its own mission and bylaws. The RASCW REALTOR® Relief Foundation is a separate organization with a different focus.
3. Does this Foundation provide down payment assistance?
   No. The Foundation does not administer a down payment assistance program.
4. Who benefits from the Foundation?
   RASCW members, community partners aligned with housing and education initiatives, and the public through housing-related education efforts.
5. Can nonprofits apply for support?
   Yes. Nonprofits whose programs align with the Foundation’s charitable purpose may apply for support.
6. How does this add value to membership?
   The Foundation enables scholarships, grants, leadership development, and community engagement opportunities that directly support REALTORS® and their professional growth.
7. Can I contribute?
   Yes. Giving is optional and member-driven. Members and partners may choose to support the Foundation’s mission.
